January seems to have run away from me again. Like most months, I find that I’ve reached payday without knowing how; feeling the hours, days and weeks prior turning into mush in my brain as I try to distinguish one Friday from another.

I was pretty excited to find out a couple of weeks ago that I’ve been named a finalist in the Kent Wedding Awards!

Over the past few years, I’ve been hinting at the prospect of my next CD, and somehow the release date has crept up on me! With less than a week to go, I’m so excited to share ALL the details regarding my next CD with you.

I have to admit, I still feel a thrill when I find out my CD’s been played on the radio - and I hope I never get too “cool” for that!

Are you in the Christmas spirit yet?! You might think I’m joking - it’s only November for goodness’ sake!!

I don’t know about you, but it feels a bit like summer happened a couple of months ago and autumn stepped up to the plate a little early!

One of the most interesting parts of playing for special occasions and events is having the chance to meet a huge variety of new people, and I missed this a lot over the various lockdowns. So, when I was asked to attend a special Bridgerton style photo/video shoot, I jumped at the chance!

All of our lives have been hugely disrupted over the past year or so, which makes me that much prouder of how committed my students have been.

As we head into the summer, I have a distinct feeling of déjà vu writing this update…
